A new resource sheds light on the momentum building in communities along the future Rock Island Trail State Park.
As part of the Active Living Community of Practice (ALCP) grant program administered by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (MO DHSS), Missourians for Responsible Transportation provides technical assistance to communities across Missouri. This year, MRT is continuing to support active transportation planning through a partnership with nine rural Missouri communities: Cole Camp, Stover, Versailles, Barnett, Belle, Bland, Owensville, Rosebud, and Gerald.
To celebrate the incredible work towards active transportation planning happening in these nine communities, MO DHSS developed the document Rock Island Trail: Connecting Communities to highlight some of these successes. Review the document to see how ALCP is benefiting these communities:
