Attend MoDOT's Long Range Planning 'Virtual Public Meeting'!

Announced in a Missouri Department of Transportation press release, MoDOT opened a 'Virtual Public Meeting' for their Long-Range Transportation Plan [LRTP] update. MoDOT will highlight this public input within the Long-Range Transportation Plan updateโ€“currently underwayโ€“which will inform MoDOT's direction for the next 25 years. The Virtual Public Meeting is open until June 30th, 2025:

Now is the time to make the case to MoDOT that Missourians want transportation choice. Missouri's vulnerable road usersโ€“including those who walk, bike, use wheelchairs, and take transitโ€“face major obstacles, and our state has an incredible opportunity to redirect our priorities with the LRTP update.

Furthermore, Missouri is one of four remaining states that have never developed a statewide active transportation plan. The LRTP update process is required to determine whether a statewide active transportation plan is feasible, so we encourage you to review our case for a statewide active transportation plan and consider these points when attending the LRTP Virtual Public Meeting:
